Wildnest Woodchop Weekend

1st - 3rd August 2026

The Wildnest Winter Wood Weekend is a practical and community-minded working weekend held at Wildnest Wilderness in Turondale, NSW. Selected applicants are invited to stay for two nights in exchange for one full day helping chop, move and stack fallen timber to support our winter firewood supply. It is designed for capable, outdoorsy people who own a chainsaw, know how to use it safely, can bring their own fuel, oil and safety gear, and have access to an AWD or 4WD vehicle. This is not a traditional giveaway. It is a hands-on weekend for people who love the bush, enjoy a bit of hard work and want to experience Wildnest Wilderness in a different way.
